Happiness is a choice, not a result. Nothing will make you happy until you choose to be happy. No person will make you happy unless you decide to be happy. Your happiness will not come to you. It can only come from you.  I personally went through some very painful moments in my life that literally turned my world upside down in a matter of seconds. Those moments changed me, for better. It made me stronger and more positive towards life. Cry if you need to, scream if you have to. Embrace the difficulties and don’t fight back. Then, get back up, straight yourself up and keep moving! So today I am very thankful to share some simple, but very important   steps you can do it right now to start living a life you want. Don’t forget, we are talking about process, so be gentle with yourself, you can do it!

Listen to our playlist while you scroll down… a good state of mind…

 1. Awareness

Become more aware of what’s really worth your energy. With the awareness, you reduce the tension between knowing that you should be content right now instead of wishing for something more. Don’t get me wrong, we all have aspirations and goals in life, but every moment you are experiencing you should be fully present. Life is NOW.

2. Process

Begin to view the process of personal evolution and spiritual growth as a place for happiness and contentment. Rather than holding back happiness while you await an outcome, enjoy the process. Every step along the path, every stage of life, every small action should be enjoyed and celebrated. Life is a PROCESS.

3. Shift

During the process, you will experience painful moments in different levels. Yes, everybody does and its completely normal. That’s part of resisting or struggling against these times, breathe into them. Shift your thinking so that you become aware of even the smallest value these moments add to your experience of life. Practicing yoga is a great way to start.

4. Failure

Failure is part of the process. It means you are engaged in life because you’ve taken a risk toward your vision.

5. Plan

When you have a vision for yourself, you need a plan for materializing this vision. You need action steps. Prioritize your vision and create a strategy for action.

6. Priorities

Our time is limited. We can’t have everything, be everything, do everything. Choose what is most important right now and gently release all else for another time or for good.

7. Focus

Whatever you are doing, focus on it. Love it. Even if it’s pain. There is beauty even in pain. Don’t struggle against or wish for something more. If you are doing it now, it is the most important thing in the world.

8. Intuition

Regardless of how rational or logical, you may be, pay attention to intuition. Intuition starts from an accumulation of all of our memories and experiences. It has something important to say to us, so listen up.

“The intuitive mind is sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.”

– Albert Einstein

9. Forgive

Forgive yourself. Forgive others. Whatever it is, let go, release it. Ah, freedom.

10. Heal

You may be wounded and hurt. Seek healing. Restore yourself. Get well again. Do what must be done to heal. You can’t be the best version of yourself when you are emotional, mentally, or physically unwell.

11. Gratitude

Spend a few minutes in gratitude every day. Remind yourself of all the blessings in your life. Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. Gratitude changes everything.

Have an amazing weekend everyone! Thank you for stopping by!
